RANDOM RAMBLINGS IN 4 HOURS

Futsal is a very intriguing sport. Learnt about it here. Never heard at my hometown. It's more or less like indoor football. Smaller pitch. Smaller goal. Actually its miniature football. At the moment, futsal seems a little bit more complicated than football. It's five-a-side and there's just so much running involved. The thing is, the pitch is so tiny that you run out of space even before you've actually reached max acceleration. Complicated eh~. It means that you have to run .. and run fast in the shortest amunt of time. That's not really that bad once you get used to it. But the worse thing about this sport is that there is no offside rule. Believe it or not, you always come across a bunch of campers next to your goal. Hmmph.I guess there's not enough space for the offside rule... but still .....

There is a football field near here. But there isn't enough people to actually play football. and when there IS enough people, there are always too many. Imagine 40+ people running around that small field. You'll have to bulldozer your way through.

However, futsal is still a pretty interesting sport. So no complaints. ( think i'll go futsal later )

I'm currently studying Bio in the web. In front of the com. At the moment reading about cyclic and non-cyclic photophosphorylation. And there's this girl with a furry sheep (i think) pencilbox sitting opposite me. Not that i mind or anything but the furry thing is hanging on top of my monitor. Hmmmm. Hahaha.

Oh, and if you've read my previous post about my page shrinking at night and growing at the daytime, well, it's partially true. If you're looking at this blog at the college library, you'll realize that the page doesn't fit the screen. (horizontally). But its perfectly fine at The Web. Interesting eh~

Oopps. Just got my fourth message today asking whether i was going to futsal later. Anyways, last night there was this practical joker sending a warning to evacuate the place in case of an earthquake. Too sleepy i didn't even realize it was saying until i read it again this morning. Must have been someone from class cuz my classmates received it. Tsk Tsk. Childish. (why didn't i think of it myself)

Hehe. Look at those poor fellas searching for a com to use. Well, i wont be leaving anytime soon. Listening to Shania Twain's 'That don't Impress me much'. Reminds me of the theme of my blog. Maybe i should put the song as my background music at my blog. Hmmm, i'll have to work on that soon. Think. Think. Think.

The furry sheep is still staring at me. Kekeke. I wanna strangle it. Toss it around or something. There was also this other guy sitting near me who was so into his friendster. Well, actually, he was looking at the profiles of any pretty girls he can find and adding them to his 'friends'. Am i that bored?

Wohoo. Just received some good news. Finally something worth typing. Shearer is NOT retiring. I repeat. Shearer from Newcastle United is NOT retiring. He's playing on another season to beat the Milburn's club goal record. YES!!!! Oh and Mourinho has been fined 9000pounds. Which is less than a day's pay for him. Aahahha.

Here's a wonderful caption from the news. . .

The £15million man's record is beyond compare - he has 250 Premiership goals to his name and has completed a century for both Blackburn and Newcastle, while his career statistics make remarkable reading.

He scored 43 times in 158 appearances for Southampton, 130 in 171 for Blackburn and currently has 191 for Newcastle in 352 appearances, a total of 364 goals in 681 senior appearances in club football.

With 30 in 63 full internationals for England, he stands head and shoulders above the crowd in his generation, and will be hopeful of adding to his club tally both this season and beyond.
But the respect in which he is held at St James' Park and on Tyneside in general is not merely a reflection of the goals he has scored and continues to score, but his ability to lead from the front and carry the hopes of a city.

Shearer's contribution on the pitch is immense from the moment he leads his team out of the tunnel through to the final whistle, and even though his legs may not have the spring they once had, he remains a formidable opponent.

His body has been telling him for some time that the end is approaching after the serious injuries he has suffered over the years take their toll, but as long as he feels he can do a job, he will give every ounce of effort he has left.

Amazing. Off i go now to futsal to score sheer class goals. Shearer Goals.

Look at the leaf. Observe the droplet. Stare again. Study each detail. Understand the importance. The difference. The purpose. Take a step back. Look again.
