LOVE STORYOkay, so i'm feeling a little lazy to put any entries. But i read this story and wanted to share it with you all....so here it is....
A LOVE STORY
One day, I woke early in the morning to watch the sunrise. Ah the
beauty of God's creation is beyond description. As I watched, I
praised God for His beautiful work. As I sat there, I felt the
Lord's presence with me.
He asked me, "Do you love me?"
I answered, "Of course, God! You are my Lord and Saviour!"
Then He asked, "If you were physically handicapped, would you still
love me?"
I was perplexed. I looked down upon my arms, legs and the rest of my
body and wondered how many things I wouldn't; be able to do, the
things that I took for granted.
And I answered, "It would be tough Lord, but I would still love
You."
Then the Lord said, "If you were blind, would you still love my
creation?" How could I love something without being able to see it?
Then I thought of all the blind people in the world and how many of
them still loved God and His creation.
So I answered, "Its hard to think of it, but I would still love
you."
The Lord then asked me, "If you were deaf, would you still listen to
my word?" How could I listen to anything being deaf?
Then I understood. Listening to God's Word is not merely using our
ears, but our hearts.
I answered, "It would be tough, but I would still listen to Your
word."
The Lord then asked, "If you were mute, would you still praise My
Name?"
How could I praise without a voice? Then it occurred to me: God
wants us to sing from our very heart and soul. It never matters what
we sound like. And praising God is not always with a song, but when
we are persecuted, we give God praise with our words of thanks.
So I answered, "Though I could not physically sing, I would still
praise Your Name."
And the Lord asked, "Do you really love Me?"
With courage and a strong conviction, I answered boldly, "Yes Lord!
I love You because You are the one and true God!"
I thought I had answered well, but God asked, "THEN WHY DO YOU SIN?"
I answered, "Because I am only human. I am not perfect."
"THEN WHY IN TIMES OF PEACE DO YOU STRAY THE FURTHEST? WHY ONLY IN
TIMES OF TROUBLE DO YOU PRAY THE EARNEST?"
No answers. Only tears.
The Lord continued: "Why only sing at fellowships and retreats? Why
seek Me only in times of worship? Why ask things so selfishly? Why
ask things so unfaithfully?"
The tears continued to roll down my cheeks.
"Why are you ashamed of Me? Why are you not spreading the good news?
Why in times of persecution, you cry to others when I offer My
shoulder to cry on? Why make excuses when I give you opportunities
to serve in My Name?"
I tried to answer, but there was no answer to give.
"You are blessed with life. I made you not to throw this gift away.
I have blessed you with talents to serve Me, but you continue to
turn away. I have revealed My Word to you, but you do not gain in
knowledge. I have spoken to you but your ears were closed. I have
shown My blessings to you, but your eyes were turned away. I have
sent you servants, but you sat idly by as they were pushed away. I
have heard your prayers and I have answered them all."
DO YOU TRULY LOVE ME ?"
I could not answer. How could I? I was embarrassed beyond belief. I
had no excuse. What could I say to this? My heart had cried out and
the tears had flowed, I said, Please forgive me Lord. I am unworthy
to be Your child."
The Lord answered, " That is My Grace, My child."
I asked, " Then why do you continue to forgive me? Why do You love
me so?"
The Lord answered, "Because you are My creation. You are my child. I
will never abandon you. When you cry, I will have compassion and cry
with you. When you shout with joy, I will laugh with you. When you
are down, I will encourage you. When you fall, I will raise you up.
When you are tired, I will carry you. I will be with you till the
end of days, and I will love you forever."
Never had I cried so hard before. How could I have been so cold? How
could I have hurt God as I had done?
I asked God, "How much do You love me?"
The Lord stretched out His arms, and I saw His nail-pierced hands. I
bowed down at the feet of Christ, my Saviour. And for the first
time, I truly prayed.
-COMMENTS HERE- CRASH AND BURNMy TV at home wasn't working. So no football for me to watch. Played Championship manager 5. Took over Newcastle. When i left for KL i hadn't lost a single game. And when i got back....the reality of what Newcastle was like came back to me....

I'm back in KL once more. And of all the things i had to do, i had to go watch the Newcastle Utd FA cup semi-final match. When i started watching it was already 1-0 to Man Utd. Things could have been worse..and it was...Man Utd went on a rampage. After their 3 goals i was more than ready to leave but Ameobi scored and i was foolish enough to dream of a comeback.
Newcastle don't make comebacks. They LET others make amazing comebacks. (eg. Newcastle 1-4 Sporting). It was a horrible sight. Rooney and Ronaldo hit Newcastle on the counterattacks and as usual Newcastle's def doesn't seem to be able to handle it. Carr was more or less always up. Babayaro and Boumsong weren't impressive. Taylor and Milner, both 18 year olds exposed their inexperience once again. Robert....who i was hoping might get a trademark freekick goal had nothing much to serve either(besides giving an intentional kick at a Man Utd player) . Shearer did have a few impressive shots on goal though. Getting himself a cut beside his eye. Rio's foot was way too high. Riley too didn't help the situation by seemingly denying Newcastle everything... Throughout the past few years, most of the Newcastle matches i've watched has ended with a draw or a loss. Have no idea why i bother supporting them anymore...~sigh~

If you can't beat 'em piss on 'em :P
At one of my entries before i've mentioned a book titled
'The Five People You Meet in Heaven'. It was being shown on the hallmark channel at 9pm yesterday. i didn't know there was a movie being made from the story. Mr Voight (Angelina Jolie's dad) acted as Eddie. It was produced this month as a television show. sad. No Astro here.
Went to Sunway to watch Sahara. Guess what...i came back with a 70cents bus ticket and that was all i did for that trip. Don't ask.

-COMMENTS HERE- AMEN
Many people know what Amen is, may he be a Christian or otherwise. It’s more or less like a
‘full stop’ after a prayer for Christians. The passing on of Pope John Paul П has rocked the world. Ambassadors, dignitaries and leaders from all over the world came to pay their last respects. They did not only consist of leaders from Christian countries but also from those of other religions. Islamic leaders sent their condolences. Masses were held worldwide. And the world acknowledged that one of their most wonderful people was gone. The late Pope was an icon of peace, hope and love. He stood against the US led war. He healed many. He achieved things no one else can ever compare himself to. During his mass at St Peter’s they were chants to make him a saint. If only the moment could be captured at the moment. When the world was together united. He will be remembered. For always. His final word before he went on…
Amen.
I’m finally home for the holidays. Only for 6 days. But that’s better than nothing I guess. Putting entries into my blog has been a pain though. The connection is so freaking slow! 56k modem. I’m feeling stressed out by waiting for the pages to load. So I type my stuff on Microsoft Word before copying and pasting the entire thing on the blog. Saves me time and trouble. Especially with all that pictures on my blog….hmmm…takes forever to load. Got disconnected 3 times already before I could put this thing up!
Yes! Man Utd lost. Liverpool lost. Chelsea drew. Wait. Newcastle isn’t even in contending positions. So it won’t affect them at all. *sigh*
I’ve read a book titled
‘The five people you meet in heaven’. Of all the books I’ve read in my life this is one book which is really beautifully written. It tells of this old man who works as maintenance personnel in a Fun Park. He used to be a soldier in Vietnam. Saw many horrifying scenes during war. He also had a bad childhood and his wife was long gone. His life seemed meaningless. One day there was a faulty ride and he sacrificed himself to save a little girl. He died. However, before he went to heaven, he met 5 people whom he knew during his lifetime. This 5 people would change his life forever. They would bring him to the past where everything would be revealed to him. The truth why his father was depressed and angry all the time. He had another chance to meet his wife. He met a little girl. A girl who died in Vietnam because of his squad. To cut a long story short, after the visitations he felt renewed and was finally ready to enter into Heaven. A really beautiful story.
So that’s all for now. I wouldn’t want to waste my holiday in front of the computer now would I?
PS. (ignore the weird symbols. It appears when you copy and paste an apostrophe from a Word document. Don't ask me why. I'm no genius.)

FULLSTOP
Well that's about all i can say. Fullstop. An end to many things but the beggining to an entire new sentence. Fullstop.
Had my Physics test today. Had trouble with my A2 core. Hmmm. That's a fullstop to my physics trials but the beggining to bio, math and chem tests. Ok. That's all i have to say about my trials. I'll leave the rest to your imagination. Fullstop.
The thing is, I was busy studying for physics so i totally missed the Newcastle vs Aston Villa score. You can look at it in two ways. A good or bad omen. Things were starting to look good for them. I mean, look, They've won 8 in a row. Unbeaten in 9 games in a row. Shearer is now player-coach. What more could they ask for? But as usual, there was a fullstop. Newcastle as always had a drama in everything. Maybe the good signs were there to make the climax look even more exciting. Like how things are always so peaceful before a disaster strikes in the movies. *sigh* Fullstop.
First things first. I read the article about Dyer admitting to being partially responsible for the sacking of Sir Bobby Robson. Really sad actually. He tells of how Sir Bobby had always defended him. Giving out excuses to the press when Dyer wasn't performing well. Tight hamstring and such. But when the time came for Dyer to show his loyalty in return, he made a fuss about playing at the position Bobby wanted him to play. It showed that Sir Bobby had lost control over his player. Bad for a manager. He was sacked. Fullstop for Sir Bobby.
'I appreciate what the boy said. I did try to help him with his career,' Robson reflected. 'He is a fine player, he has been playing wonderful football. 'That was my argument with him. He has so much talent he could have played anywhere apart from goalkeeper, centre-back or left-back. If he just concentrated on his game he would be a terrific player.'- Sir Bobby Robson
After Sir Bobby was sacked, Dyer was caught urinating in an alleyway on CCTV. Souness (new manager) brought him to the police station. On the way, Souness turned around, looked at Dyer in the eye and told him that he had been warned and there was no more next time. Fullstop.
NEWCASTLE 0 - 3 ASTON VILLA Fullstop.
How much more worse can it get? Not much? Ha ha. Wait. Newcastle finished the match with 8 men. Firstly, Knight(ref) was quite 'unfair' to begin with. Him and the linesman dismissed a clear penalty to Newcastle when Jlloyd Samuel handled in the penalty box. Fullstop. And will someone please get rid or O'Brien. He was HOPELESS! Fullstop. On came Steven Taylor for O'Brien. Young and talented local hero. Well, he made a deliberate handball to keep out a goal. No chance. Red card. So he did prevent a goal. But the penalty that followed didn't help either. Fullstop. Ok so lets not talk about how Newcastle conceded the other 2 goals. Lets talk about how Dyer and Bowyer got sent off ofr fighting in front of 50 000 fans. Wow! And no, they were not beating the ref, linesman or opposition. They were beating EACH OTHER!!! Puhhlease! Red card for both of them. Fullstop. So no Taylor, Dyer or Bowyer for semi final FA cup agains Man Utd. Fullstop. Sacking 'might' be coming for them. However, it's said that Dyer was defending himself and did not punch Bowyer. Bowyer was throwing punches aplenty! No excuse for him! Fullstop.
So with all the fullstops, we have to get to a new sentence. Start afresh. Start studying for bio and math (for example). Fullstop.
(Looking forward to going home soon. Really tired here :P )

RANDOM RAMBLINGS IN 4 HOURS
Futsal is a very intriguing sport. Learnt about it here. Never heard at my hometown. It's more or less like indoor football. Smaller pitch. Smaller goal. Actually its miniature football. At the moment, futsal seems a little bit more complicated than football. It's five-a-side and there's just so much running involved. The thing is, the pitch is so tiny that you run out of space even before you've actually reached max acceleration. Complicated eh~. It means that you have to run .. and run fast in the shortest amunt of time. That's not really that bad once you get used to it. But the worse thing about this sport is that there is no offside rule. Believe it or not, you always come across a bunch of campers next to your goal. Hmmph.I guess there's not enough space for the offside rule... but still .....
There is a football field near here. But there isn't enough people to actually play football. and when there IS enough people, there are always too many. Imagine 40+ people running around that small field. You'll have to bulldozer your way through.
However, futsal is still a pretty interesting sport. So no complaints. ( think i'll go futsal later )
I'm currently studying Bio in the web. In front of the com. At the moment reading about cyclic and non-cyclic photophosphorylation. And there's this girl with a furry sheep (i think) pencilbox sitting opposite me. Not that i mind or anything but the furry thing is hanging on top of my monitor. Hmmmm. Hahaha.
Oh, and if you've read my previous post about my page shrinking at night and growing at the daytime, well, it's partially true. If you're looking at this blog at the college library, you'll realize that the page doesn't fit the screen. (horizontally). But its perfectly fine at The Web. Interesting eh~
Oopps. Just got my fourth message today asking whether i was going to futsal later. Anyways, last night there was this practical joker sending a warning to evacuate the place in case of an earthquake. Too sleepy i didn't even realize it was saying until i read it again this morning. Must have been someone from class cuz my classmates received it. Tsk Tsk. Childish. (why didn't i think of it myself)
Hehe. Look at those poor fellas searching for a com to use. Well, i wont be leaving anytime soon. Listening to Shania Twain's 'That don't Impress me much'. Reminds me of the theme of my blog. Maybe i should put the song as my background music at my blog. Hmmm, i'll have to work on that soon. Think. Think. Think.
The furry sheep is still staring at me. Kekeke. I wanna strangle it. Toss it around or something. There was also this other guy sitting near me who was so into his friendster. Well, actually, he was looking at the profiles of any pretty girls he can find and adding them to his 'friends'. Am i that bored?
Wohoo. Just received some good news. Finally something worth typing. Shearer is NOT retiring. I repeat. Shearer from Newcastle United is NOT retiring. He's playing on another season to beat the Milburn's club goal record. YES!!!! Oh and Mourinho has been fined 9000pounds. Which is less than a day's pay for him. Aahahha.
Here's a wonderful caption from the news. . .
The £15million man's record is beyond compare - he has 250 Premiership goals to his name and has completed a century for both Blackburn and Newcastle, while his career statistics make remarkable reading.
He scored 43 times in 158 appearances for Southampton, 130 in 171 for Blackburn and currently has 191 for Newcastle in 352 appearances, a total of 364 goals in 681 senior appearances in club football.
With 30 in 63 full internationals for England, he stands head and shoulders above the crowd in his generation, and will be hopeful of adding to his club tally both this season and beyond.
But the respect in which he is held at St James' Park and on Tyneside in general is not merely a reflection of the goals he has scored and continues to score, but his ability to lead from the front and carry the hopes of a city.
Shearer's contribution on the pitch is immense from the moment he leads his team out of the tunnel through to the final whistle, and even though his legs may not have the spring they once had, he remains a formidable opponent.
His body has been telling him for some time that the end is approaching after the serious injuries he has suffered over the years take their toll, but as long as he feels he can do a job, he will give every ounce of effort he has left.
Amazing. Off i go now to futsal to score sheer class goals. Shearer Goals.
