JOHN, THE BUNNY AND THE EGG.
So Okay, there really isn't any connection between the title and the stuff I'm going to type. :P. Just wanted some attention. Well, actually, I’m writing some stuff about Easter cause it's Easter! That's where the egg and bunny comes in. Hehe. Most of you know the Easter story right? There are lots of disputes about it. If you can’t beat them, join them. So I’m going to join in the disputing. :D
Went to church on Sunday. Easter Sunday! Watched a pretty good mime. Twas a pretty good one. Oh wait, have I said that already? Nevermind. It’s about the celebration life. There's this girl who can’t make up her mind whether she should abandon her baby. She does it at the end. A tramp finds the baby. Tries to stop him from crying. Cuddles it and stuff like that. Shows affection to a total baby stranger. And as usual it ends happily with the mother coming back to get her baby. No idea what made her change her mind. But that's another story.
Easter involves 3 empty stuff. An empty cross, an empty grave and empty grave clothes. Don't forget the 2 ton rock which was moved. Impressive isn't it. But what’s that to most people? I mean, David Copperfield made the Statue of Liberty disappear! But the argument isn't about who was the better magician. It's about what happened to Christ after he was buried. Mary Magdelene, Salome and Mary (mother of james) found the tomb opened and empty. An angel informed them He had risen and there was no dead person there. And as usual the wandering mind of humans come up with all sorts of excuses.
There was a lady who once posted a message in a forum online. She said that 'Jesus must have fallen unconscious and had woken up after He felt better.' So okaaayyy… I’ve heard better excuses than that one… but anyways, a couple of days later there was a reply. It said 'Try whipping someone 39 times. Nail the person to the cross. Spear him on the side. Throw him in an airless tomb. Roll a huge boulder in front of the entrance. I’ll even provide you some smelling salts to wake him up.' :D
There's another argument that the body was stolen. His enemies wouldn't want to steal the body. It would make things worse for them. It would look as if Jesus had resurrected. So why would they do that? And as for his friends, well, hehe, they were little chicks hiding somewhere. His disciples 'disappeared' when he was being tortured. No superhero among them. Nope. None. What makes you think they had the courage to steal his body? Ahahaha.
There are many other theories. But I haven’t got THAT much time. I'm a science student studying Biology, Chemistry and Physics. Tell me somebody died and came back to life and i'll go ummmm…. ahhhhhhhh….but sometimes you just have to take that huge step of faith and the rest will come rolling along. Sin is something God really dreads. Nothing could pay for it but His own Son. Pure and blameless.
Well, I do know somebody who 'came back to life'. During the war between Britain and France, soldiers in France were conscripted randomly… like lottery tickets. :D. One day, an army personnel went to a civilian and told him he was conscripted to join the army. The civilian was quite shocked. He told the officer that he had already 'died'. The thing was, somebody else had taken his spot. A close friend who had no family decided to take his place. His friend had been killed in action. KIA. This matter was brought up to Napoleon and the civilian was excused. After all, he had done his share for the country, whether or not he had actually gone to war. (supposedly a real story)
Ok. So that was a little out of topic. Where was I?
We cannot take Jesus' sacrifice lightly. It was the ultimate sacrifice. Sometime in our daily lives we forget this and take it for granted. Easter is one of those occasions where we're reminded of what Jesus had done. And we should learn to appreciate it. Once upon a time, there were 3 French teenagers. They went to the famed Notre Dame (beautiful Catholic Church in France)
Hey, did you know that during the World War when enemy forces were retreating from France, they had actually planned to blow up all the significant buildings. One of them was the Notre Dame. They lined explosives all over the structure. A soldier was left behind to 'flick' the switch. Allied forces found the explosives, fuse and wires all in place but the Notre Dame was still intact. It was said that he couldn’t bring himself to do it. He was too astounded by its beauty he didn’t blow the place up. The same scenario was found at the Eiffel Tower!
Aiks! Got distracted again~wait. Lemme scroll up to see where I was. . .
Oh ok. Well, the 3 teens decided to play a practical joke. One of them went into the confession box and made up some confession to the priest. The priest, experienced as he was, wasn't easily fooled by the young man. He told the young man that he had to do something to pay for his sins. The boy was asked to go into the sanctuary. Approach the crucifix. Look at the statue of Jesus in the eyes. And say 'You died on the cross for me but I don’t give a damn!' 3 times. So the 3 boys went to the sanctuary and the boy went up to the crucifix. Looked at the statue in the eye. And he said the sentence once. The second time it was a softer, more feeble attempt. He stood there a very long time and couldn’t bring himself to do it a third time. That boy went back to the confession box again and confessed his misbehaving. And guess what… that same boy is now the Archbishop of France. Interesting eh~
Sometimes you just need something to smack you in the face so that you'll realize the importance of His ultimate sacrifice. Ok guess that's about it for now. Cheers!

IT'S FRIDAY TODAY!Yup, it's that time of the year again. Good Friday!!! No meat for me today... Anyways, that isn't much compared to Perry who's fasting today... and believe it or not no DOTA for him today too. Oh well. Good for him. Today is a good day. Ok... it's an OK day. Ruined maybe by only the Chem practical I had. Ok. So it wasn't THAT bad. It was Ok. After all, it IS an Ok day today. Ok as always. The real stuff is going to hit me hard next week :P
Ok.. to change the topic, Newcastle drew with Portsmouth. As usual.. another draw. Sad. Let's change the topic again. Game Overed for the first time in Final Fantasy tactics GB today. Was unprepared for the sudden continuous battle. Sad. Lost in Dota today. And it was 3 on 1. I was on the side with 3 people. My death prophet had 0 kills and 8 deaths. Even 'sader'. PS2 left the vicinity at 1700 hours today. No more Star Ocean 3 for me. Sad. Played LINGO with Kok and Yun for the last 3 days. Stumped me many times. Haven't stump any of them yet. Sad.
Forgot to bring my calculator for my chem practical today. : ( . Lucky there's always nice Miss Shoba to borrow from. When i announced that i'd forgotten to bring my calculator. Kok suggested Miss Shoba straight away. He's very 'experienced' in this criteria. Couldn't find her in the staffroom with only 2 minutes before quarantine. Miss Careen wasn't there either. Guess she was supervising in one of the Labs. Went to Mr Selva next. No luck. Wasn't in. Last choice was to find the nearest teacher i knew. Opened the staffroom door and saw Miss 'Jeannie'(can't remember how to spell.. or was it Ginnie?). She had no calculator. She helped me 'ransack' Miss Shoba's place though.(ransack = search carefully... no misunderstandings intended). Grateful for her help but to no avail either. Started panicking. At least 3 minutes well past quarantine already. Finally decided to ask the supervisors at the quarantine room. Trudged off, head held low, tired, upset, worried, panicky and slowly to the quarantine room. D25. Opened to door. TADAA!!! Guess who was supervising? MISS SHOBA!!!!! My Saviour! She brought the calculator all the way to chem Lab 1 after quarantine for me to use. SO NICE!!! Whew.... : )
( the calculator was a very 'uncool' one to use though. wasn't used to it. . . HAHAHA ... neways ... 3 cheers for MISS SHOBA!!!)
So as you can see the sad parts seem to outweight the happy parts. But we can't expect everything to go the way we want it to. Be thankful with the day you had. Things didn't seem to be going to right way for me today. However, it was an enthralling experience. We cannot let puny things like this put us down. It's the challenges like this which make our lives all the much more worthwhile. All it takes is just one nice memory a day. Sometimes you can't think of any. But think hard and long cause I'm sure there will be at least one nice event. Small or insignificant to you it may be... but that's all you actually need. Think positive and everyday will be a blessed day. Cheers!~johny

COMPLETION
This site is now officially open. And i have no idea what to add. It seems that fooling around with the template is actually almost more interesting than typing entries. Anyone out there interested in typing entries for me to put up? I have this tact for doing things half-way.
-reached 2nd cd for Star Ocean 3 PS2 game
-same thing for the cute SD Gundam game supposedly for 'children'
-Oh not forgetting great fencer Musashi PS1 game...( Great Fencer Musashi 2 on PS2 is out but no way i'm touching that game again)
-currently barrelling my way through F.Fantasy tactics gameboy advance ( cuz i finished the PS1 game for F.Fantasy tactics..yea)
really sad remembering all that failures. However i must boast that i finished full Metal Alchemist in 3 days!!!!! Well, you lose some win some.
Hey..maybe i should just start another empty blog to design. I've currently got three to fool around with. The other two were supposed to be prototypes in the process of creating this one. Not very successful first try yet though. I can't seem to get the width right. believe it or not but the width shrinks at night but becomes to wide in the daytime. Weird huh~. Though i'm particularly pleased with the moving panda bear. Muahahaha. Cute! Special thanks of course goes out to the other bloggers who i referred to for help namely, 'dreamwalker', 'xlonestarrs' and the many others. Thanks.
Anyways, if anyone has any other suggestions to improve the blog just leave a comment somewhere on the site. That's enough blogging for now i guess... maybe..just maybe i can fiddle around somemore with this blog. Brb.
